Pedal Fit is a physical therapy office located in Denver, CO that specializes in therapy revolving around biking. Proper bike fit is intended to improve performance, reduce pain, and eliminate injury. Many bike shops blindly recite dated bike fit philosophy or rely on popular opinions rather than science, placing the cyclist at risk and limiting performance. With the Pedal Fit PT bike fit system in Denver, CO we can consistently provide rider assessment with precision and accuracy throughout our range of fit offerings provided by Doctor of Physical Therapy Natalie Collins, PT, DPT, COMT, BikePT.
Objective
I was given the task of creating this Dr.'s practice that specialized in therapy revolving around bicycling and proper fitment of a bike to the rider ensuring proper motion and movement in the joints. I had played around with several different concepts ranging from illustrated bicyclists to typographic logos. We both came to an agreement on this concept.
This concept was derived from the combination of a gear and the letters P and F placed next to one another to create a flower. This combination of the letters formed a nice, almost mountain looking image. When rotated around the center of the gear it creates pedals. The text was centered around the smoother aspect of therapy and continuing with the perfect circle style lettering.
